Once public, disputes between networks and their carriers can become ugly quickly. CBS and Showtime went black on Time Warner Cable for about a half-hour last year, leading CBS CEO Les Moonves to declare, “We are at war.”
That war was settled, but a new battle has sprung up between Fox News and Dish Network, with Dish dropping Fox News from its lineup earlier this week. Fox News has plenty of leverage, though, being the most-watched cable news network in the United States with a loyal viewership.
The network has put up a website at www.keepfoxnews.com, and plenty of Fox News personalities are tweeting directly to fans.
Won’t someone think of the Pavlich household?
