When the president visited Walter Reed National Military Medical Center last week after complaining about a sore throat, he received “a routine CT scan” but apparently passed on the irony transplant. “If it weren’t for the press pool, nobody would know about it”? That is some wishful thinking, and a classic example of the most transparent administration ever’s relationship with the media.
Asked about the reflux and sore throat that took him to Walter Reed last weekend, Pres Obama lamented reporters knew about it.

"That was a classic example of – if it weren’t for the press pool – nobody’d know about it," POTUS said of his reflux/sore throat.

Hmm … something better for the press to cover. But what?
@markknoller there are better things to cover: IRS targeting, Gruber, Benghazi, Bergdahl…
