Good point, Roland Martin. Headlines about the latest scandal to hit the Sharpton camp have been confined primarily to the New York tabloids. That scandal involves the alleged rape of a woman by attorney Sanford Rubenstein following Sharpton’s 60th birthday party this week.
@errollouis @TheRevAl @WBLS1075NYC al no outrage? Silence? NY Times silent too.

The New York Daily News reports:
The high-powered attorney has been accused of raping a woman at his Manhattan home following the Rev. Al Sharpton’s 60th birthday bash on Wednesday, the Daily News has learned.
The alleged incident, first reported at NYDailyNews.com, took place at Rubenstein’s swanky E. 64th St. apartment hours after Sharpton’s star-studded party at the Four Seasons restaurant in Manhattan, law enforcement sources told The News.
The alleged victim is a 42-year-old business executive and a “top official” at Sharpton’s National Action Network, according to sources and the civil rights advocacy group.
@NYDailyNews Looks like the makings of a Law & Order SUV storyline.

Of course these charges won’t distract Sharpton from his latest quest for justice, this one involving Eric Garner, who was reportedly killed by a police chokehold while in custody in July. But it is something for Sharpton to acknowledge the rape scandal on the radio, and even stranger to hear Anthony Weiner weigh in.

@anthonyweiner @CharmianNeary I guess 24 hrs until name of accuser is published. What's already printed is pretty much a roadmap.
