If there is a big takeaway from Ferguson, it’s that when MSNBC’s Chris Hayes isn’t mistakenly identifying dead bodies in the street, he stands “like your mom on the porch when you get home after the street lights came on.” Like a dweeb, that is.

Early Thursday morning, though, Hayes found an even bigger takeaway from Ferguson: “millions and millions of Americans live their lives under conditions that feel like occupation.”

Some have an idea of how it feels.
