Here’s something we didn’t expect: former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg telling the graduating class at Harvard that “conservative faculty members are at risk of becoming an endangered species” — and that’s a bad thing, in case any were wondering.
“In the 1950s, the right wing was attempting to repress left-wing ideas. Today, on many campuses, it is liberals trying to repress conservative ideas,” Bloomberg said, adding, “When 96 percent of faculty donors prefer one candidate to another, you have to wonder whether students are being exposed to the diversity of views that a university should offer.”
At Harvard commencement, Mike Bloomberg calls campaigns to silence graduation speakers "outrageous," blames liberal college cultures.

@thecrimson @LisaBirnbach He's right & what has happened on college campuses re "disagreeable" speakers is shameful and anti-intellectual.

@thecrimson Well Harvard's faculty is homogenous. All left wing Democrats. I know because my son went there.

Michael Bloomberg is not the best person to deliver this message, but at least someone is. http://t.co/gqC9uCKQTw

In Harvard speech, Bloomberg chastised liberal faculty/sudents across US for repressing diversity of thought by exclusing conservatives. 1/2
