Jason Collins, the first male player on a major American sports team to come out as gay, is among the guests at Tuesday night’s state dinner honoring French President Francois Hollande.
I wonder if @FLOTUS can save a dance for me tonight??! I'm sure @BarackObama won't mind. pic.twitter.com/j4bBrtM4Sr

A dance with the first lady seems likely, seeing how close Collins has become with the first couple. President Obama called Collins last April to praise him for his courage, and he was an honored guest in Michelle Obama’s box at the State of the Union address.
Of course, the state dinner is a huge event with around 350 invited guests, including celebs like Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Mindy Kaling, Bradley Cooper and Stephen Colbert, who reportedly will be seated at the head table with the president and first lady.

The pool is right behind @JoeBiden, who just kissed Veep star @OfficialJLD And told her he asked to be seated next to her.

I sure hope Obama takes a break from eating caviar tonight to speak about income inequality. #statedinner
