It’s a good question. Twitchy told you earlier today about Crystal Mangum being found guilty of second-degree murder in the 2011 stabbing death of her boyfriend, Reginald Daye. Mangum, of course, is better known as the woman who falsely accused members of the Duke lacrosse team of rape in 2006.
That story, which turned out to be fabricated, made headlines for months. Will Mangum’s murder conviction get the same treatment?
@RobLowe No.
Wonder why, huh?

@RobLowe Nope. And the men’s lives are probably still ruined.

@RobLowe of course not…I know people that still don't know they were proven innocent

@RobLowe There wasn't as much coverage of her when her false accusation was proven false, if you remember.

@RobLowe The rape allegation was huge headline stuff; the retraction and so forth, much less so. Oh it was covered. I'm not saying it wasn't

@RobLowe but there were not any "Lessons for Society" in that story. Hell, they didn't even report her name — as if she were a victim
