As Twitchy noted, Organizing for Action yesterday turned its laser-like focus back to climate change with a new “humorous” video. Today, OFA went for the heartstrings by tweeting that “extreme weather is a real problem,” accompanied by a photo of a pair of cow elk facing a giant forest fire. Superimposed on the dramatic photo: “One year after Sandy, extreme weather has affected more than just the East Coast.”
To those who deny the effects of climate change: Extreme weather is a real problem. #ThisIsReal pic.twitter.com/Hf7iwURCBj

It’s real, but it’s also really old.
@OFA And to illustrate your point, you use a 13 year old photo? http://t.co/QDCPHiWkC7

The photo accompanying the claim actually was taken 13 years ago, not last year … in part demonstrating that climate change is unpredictable and never-ending.

We believe the coveted OFA unicorn trophies are reserved for members of Congress.
@redsteeze @OFA "Please send your donations so that we can impose a tax to prevent extreme weather." And I'm the crazy one.
