We bet all of you pro-lifers feel foolish now for not having considered Elayne Boosler’s brilliant chicken/egg metaphor. If life begins at fertilization, then there’s no difference between a fertilized egg and a chicken dinner, right?
Yeah, that’s an occupational hazard with Boosler. The tweet makes sense, in a way, if you don’t consider there to be any difference between a chicken and a human being. Many conservatives believe there is.
