While the White House has tapped Hollywood and the music world for help in spreading the word about the Affordable Care Act, states that have agreed to set up and run their own heath insurance exchanges have received millions to help advertise, with varying results.
As Twitchy reported, Colorado HealthOP sent out a group of nearly naked models to the streets of Denver to remind citizens that they’re “exposed” without health coverage. And now, Connect for Health Colorado has revealed its latest public service announcement stressing the importance of insurance coverage. Enjoy:
Thanks to Colorado comic @JoshBlueComedy for his riff on the importance of health insurance! #C4HCO #cohealth http://t.co/niDZ5y9Hog

We don’t have any firm numbers on insurance policies sold through Colorado’s exchange; could it match or even surpass Maryland’s 326 enrollees? KUSA-TV anchor Kyle Clark thinks it’s possible, but unlikely.
How many Coloradans have signed up for the Affordable Care Act? @C4HCO won't yet say, but Maryland's numbers could give us a hint. (1/3)

Maryland has more web visitors, more calls & more accounts created than Colorado… and Maryland has 326 people enrolled for Obamacare (2/3)

.@C4HCO & the Obama administration say asking how many have enrolled for insurance is the wrong question. Their preferred metric is interest
— Kyle Clark (@KyleClark) October 7, 2013
We wonder why that is?
@KyleClark @C4HCO I'm interested in unicorns, does that interest equate to reality at some point? How cool would that be? Unicorns for all

Note: Maryland's Affordable Care Act numbers are Oct 1-6. Colorado last released info on Oct 3. So @C4HCO may have seen weekend surge.

This new PSA might cause a surge in enrollment too, right?
