Rush Limbaugh’s riff today on the future of the Washington Post and the slow death of the Left-leaning “dead tree media” was pretty much spot on, but four little words quickly interjected into the middle — “the Left owns Twitter” —have caused quite a stir among the true deed holders. (The Right Scoop has the audio.)
Geez Rush said only the cynical get their news from twitter. "Twitter is owned by the left!"

Rush says the Left owns Twitter …that's not true. Reverse appears True.

Limbaugh’s the undisputed king of the conservative airwaves, but his official Twitter account follows precisely zero people, and we’re guessing he’s not spent a lot of time on Twitter recently. Liberal journalists are routinely called out on their bias, hashtag campaigns like #Gosnell and #Benghazi have forced those topics into the public awareness and the headlines, and even the progressives at this year’s Netroots Nation conference conceded they have a lot of catching up to do to counter the “Michelle Malkin effect.” And don’t forget Sen. Ted Cruz collecting #StandWithRand tweets to read on the Senate floor in support of Sen. Rand Paul’s epic filibuster.
I don't often disagree with Rush, but he thinks twitter has been taken over by liberals.. he should see my followers followers followers, ect.

Rush Limbaugh currently saying the left owns twitter and how AWFUL some of us get our news from a twitter feed instead of #corporations
— truekey (@truekeymusic) August 6, 2013
Why does Rush hate twitter? He's woefully uninformed.

Completely disagree w/ Limbaugh. Left does not own Twitter. Has he seen our hash tag hijacks? http://t.co/IWXiaIFeRB

#rush may rule the radio but his understanding of new media is painful. The left most certainly does not own Twitter.

Rush criticizing Twitter is the equivalent of someone saying conservative talk radio would never work in 1991.

l very much disagree with Rush's claim that Twitter is the dominion of the Left. There have been way too many victories on the Right here.

@SooperMexican Rush is right 98% of the time. His opinion on Twitter falls into that other 2%. He's allowed 2B wrong 1ce in a while.
