More than 20 U.S. embassies around the world are currently closed due to what is being described as specific and credible threats to Western targets in Muslim countries. Rest easy, though: new National Security Adviser Susan Rice is on the job, and as we all know, she has some experience with embassy attacks.
WH had principals mtg on terror threat with: COS McDonough, Kerry, Hagel, Clapper, Natl Security Adviser Rice, Joints Chief Chmn Dempsey

@AHMalcolm Amazing that ALL the same characters are still involved; like moving the deck chairs around on a "phony" Titanic deck…

Not at all confident in Rice’s leadership is Richard Grenell, who tangled with President Obama’s former NSC spokesman over Rice’s handling of that “phony scandal.”
Susan Rice's 1st big decision as NSA is to publicly announce a closure of 22 embassies/consulates for few days. Does this make us more safe?

Yes if you work there MT “@RichardGrenell: Rice's 1st big decision is to announce closure of 22 us facilities. Does this make us more safe?”

. @TVietor08 telling the enemy the plan means they know no one is there. Rice thinks alqaeda just gives up? They don't come back Thursday?
— Richard Grenell (@RichardGrenell) August 3, 2013
.@RichardGrenell you can't regurgitate every insane Benghazi conspiracy theory and then attack admin for taking steps to protect staff
— Tommy Vietor (@TVietor08) August 3, 2013
@TVietor08 we like taking steps. Just not announcing the plans to the enemy.
— Richard Grenell (@RichardGrenell) August 3, 2013
If we recall correctly, the administration didn’t do such a good job protecting Americans overseas last September after the U.S. received a credible threat.
So SusanRice closed 22 embassies in reaction to Benghazi? @TVietor08: u can't regurgitate Benghazi & then attack admin for taking steps
