In case you forgot, this weekend was the Aspen Ideas Festival in Aspen, Colo. A co-presentation of the Aspen Institute and The Atlantic, which named Lena Dunham and Mayor Michael Bloomberg to its list of “Brave Thinkers” last year, the festival among other things claims to “identify disruptive ideas that will shape how we navigate the globe.”
Pass holders to the event were promised the opportunity to mingle with “leading writers, public officials, artists, scientists, business executives, scholars, economists, foreign policy specialists, entrepreneurs, and leaders of all kinds” — but unless they’re checking Twitter on their iPhones during the speeches, they’re going to miss out on some of the very best and most disruptive #AspenIdeas being offered on Twitter.
