Ouch! It’s hard to argue with Wolf Blitzer’s claim that CNN changed the way that people get their news. After all, CNN was the first 24-hour news network and set the template for cable news. But with Obama campaign tool Stephanie Cutter now on board as a political correspondent and the channel’s ethnic purge well underway, “we’re only just beginning” seems like more of a threat than a promise.
Fixed. MT @wolfblitzer: 33 years ago today Ted Turner launched @CNN & changed the way the world gets "news."

.@wolfblitzer @CNN How exactly is moving away from reporting impartial, un-sensationalized and diverse news a "beginning"?

@wolfblitzer @CNN The CNN of today is no comparison to CNN at its inception. In comparison current version suffers greatly. Sad.

@wolfblitzer @CNN By "changed" you mean we the people dont get journalism or informed comprehensive news?Just weather, sports, celebrity crap
— Val Halla (@tradjety) June 1, 2013
@wolfblitzer @CNN Any plans on getting back into journalism?.. No, just more flashy graphics and "breaking news" on the screen permenantly?
— Jim O'Neil (@jimoo) June 1, 2013
@wolfblitzer and now Nancy Grace is the face of CNN, my how far that network has fallen! #sad

@wolfblitzer @CNN looks like you are about to be wrapping it up. Liberalism doesn't equate to ratings
— Joey Pender (@compman1979) June 1, 2013
@wolfblitzer @CNN But it seems to have contributed to the unfortunate new jump-to-conclusions reporting that y'all have to then backtrack.

@ChrisStigall @wolfblitzer I guess then in 33 more yrs, @CNN will be in its prime? Nano-ratings & seen only in spaceports orbiting Rigel 6?
