Both the president and first lady attended fundraisers tonight, but it was Michelle Obama who seemed to show the clearest understanding of her husband’s fiscal policy. In short, maxing out on donations to the party that wants to grow government would be totally baller.
Mrs. Obama tonight: "We need you to keep on writing those checks. And if you haven't maxed out, you know what's my motto: max out!"

Could some of our younger tweeps help us with a working definition of "baller"?

Translation?
@toddstarnes Baller = slang for some1 who has "made it" big. While FLOTUS should be above using such a term, it's not inappropriate per se.

Yes, FLOTUS apparently used the term "baller" in her fundraising pitch at the LGBT gala, per pool.

That's what I want. A First Lady who uses the term "Baller" when seeking donations.

You know who doesn’t think maxing out is baller? Those Republicans who insist on running the country into crushing debt slightly more gradually, thereby starving children and the elderly.
FLOTUS: Sequester = "children…being turned away from Head Start," "so many seniors losing their meals on wheels" (Pool report)
