It’s been 100 days since the Sandy Hook Elementary massacre and President Obama still hasn’t banned guns yet, but he assures us he hasn’t “forgotten about those kids.” We’d begun to suspect he had forgotten, though, about that important three-letter word that used to be thrown around during his first term: J-O-B-S. It has been nearly two years since Obama joked that “shovel-ready was not as shovel-ready as we expected.”
Tomorrow, though, Obama promises to campaign like it’s 2008 and recalibrate his laser-like focus on the economy during a visit to Miami, Fla.

So, has the country’s dad plugged that hole in the economy yet? What’s the plan?
Asked if Pres Obama will unveil new infrastructure proposals, @jearnest44 says "I think that we've got a couple of tricks up our sleeve."

@markknoller @jearnest44 Tricks, as in slight of hand, are not exactly what we've been waiting on. We've had those for the last 4+ years.

@markknoller kind of like what the 800 billion in surplus was supposed to do 4 years ago

Patience, please. You can’t change Washington from the inside, after all.
