In the PR battle over automatic spending cuts, longer lines at TSA checkpoints have emerged as one of the effects of the sequester that the public at large is most likely to feel right away. President Ronald Reagan’s son Michael doesn’t want that threat to stand in the way of the cuts taking place; in fact, he’s been cheering on the sequester for days.
