Perhaps the president is fixing it. After all, first lady Michelle Obama this year garnered more Grammy nominations than Justin Bieber — that is, one. The audio version of Mrs. Obama’s book, “American Grown,” is up for the coveted Spoken Word award.

It might be time to expand the White House trophy room. If Michelle Obama wins, her Grammy will join the two already won by her husband for the audio versions of his two books, not to mention his Nobel Peace Prize.

Of course, the awards aren’t until February, so we’ll have to wait to see if the first lady can hold off the competition, which includes a diverse array of nominees ranging from Bill Clinton to Rachel Maddow. Before you go shouting about liberal bias, know that Ellen Degeneres is also up for the award, so there.
