Actor Kal Penn made a high-profile speech at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C., Tuesday night, but his appearance at the Charlotte airport Friday drew some attention as well, as reporters on the scene took note of Penn’s “ridiculously long” pat-down by the TSA.
Rapper and “Romney voter” Nicki Minaj recently claimed she was “fondled” by a “perv” at the TSA, but Penn wrote off the similar-sounding pat-down as “a great buttocks massage.” Did Penn’s “Kumar” persona have something to do with the attention?
