It sounds like Tom Morello’s unhinged rant against Paul Ryan — inspired by Ryan’s professed love of Rage Against the Machine — hasn’t dissuaded the vice presidential candidate from giving shout-outs to his favorite bands, or at least the first and last ones on his iPod playlist.
Ryan & music: " I hope it’s not a deal-breaker Mitt, but my playlist starts with AC/DC, and ends with Zeppelin"

Is it possible to politicize such an innocuous comment? As another vice presidential candidate might have said, “You betcha!”

AC/DC and Led Zeppelin? Paul Ryan's music playlist is decidedly un-American!

Paul Ryan's playlist starts with AC/DC and ends with Zeppelin. Seems un-American, though.

Headline tomorrow: "Members of AC/DC and Led Zeppelin don't want Paul Ryan as a fan"
— Aubrey O'Day (@AubreyODay) August 30, 2012

Has Ryan just lost the ZZ Top vote?
Ryan's playlist goes "from AC/DC to Zeppelin." What, no ZZ Top? There goes my vote, loser.
— Greg Milner (@GIMilner) August 30, 2012
Paul "My playlist starts with AC/DC and ends with Zeppelin" Ryan just alienated the ZZ Top vote.

Paul Ryan: "My iPod playlist starts with AC DC and ends with Zeppelin." Dude totally just lost the ZZ Top vote.
