Police say Scott A. Smith, 37, of North Ridgeville, Ohio, was stopped at Crocker Park Regal Cinemas and searched by an off-duty police officer who noticed suspicious behavior. Smith was found with a loaded 9mm Glock handgun and two additional magazines of 17 rounds each, as well as four knives. Reports say he was taken into custody without incident and charged today with carrying a concealed weapon, among other charges.

Smith has a wife and 1-year-old child. Westlake Police Detective Lieutenant Ray Arcuri said police searched his home and found many weapons, including seven rifles, five or six handguns, lots of ammo, gas masks and bulletproof vests.
