Tom Davis, who along with writing partner Senator Al Franken was one of the original writers of “Saturday Night Live,” died today of cancer at 59. He is credited with the creation of such characters as the Coneheads, medieval barber Theodoric of York and Irwin Mainway (of the Johnny Space Commander mask).
I loved them together

RIP TOM DAVIS. He was very cool and sweet and he showed me how to break into the 11th fl. garden at 30 Rock. YOU WILL BE MISSED!
