OK, so it wasn’t actually Walter Reed Army Medical Center, which closed last year. However, KISS did perform a special, private show for around 2,000 servicemen today in Bristow, Va.

Show sponsor Boomer Magazine tweeted a photo of KISS bassist Gene Simmons at the event.

Kiss also teamed with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Hiring Our Heroes program to hire Paul Jordan, a 20-year veteran who served three tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan, as a roadie.
