“Juno” and “Young Adult” screenwriter Diablo Cody has emerged with perhaps the most scathing indictment of the United States education system yet.
What sort of history teacher actually weeps at the sound of Jesus Jones? Aren’t liberal teachers’ unions always trying to get Jesus out of the curriculum?
It seems the problem is more widespread than we could have imagined.
@diablocody which teacher we talkin about here? Could really have been any. Also, was vampire Megan Fox your year or older? (Class of '00)

This story can’t really be true, can it?
@diablocody Having married an historian/history teacher, I believe this 100%. Billy Joel's "We Didn't Start the Fire" has similar effect.

Billy Joel? Jesus Jones? Don’t schools have history textbooks anymore?
The problem brought to light, more tweeters are breaking their silence and weighing in with their own tearful stories of abuse.
@diablocody My high school chemistry teacher played Imagine on John Lennon's birthday and cried. I've been scarred since.
