Apparently Cher doesn’t know when to shut up. Her bitterness towards the right reached a new low tonight when the formerly relevant pop singer tweeted that she was “Having Sad Moment!” (sic) regarding the “Tparty taking over USA” (sic) and “Children committing suicide.” Her tweet came after she retweeted a fan who linked to a news story about a bullying victim committing suicide.
Despite what Cher may think, suicide is a serious issue that Hollywood has a history of trivializing. It’s anything but a political punchline.
Class it up, Cher.
@cher don't despair. We'll prevail soon. Have faith.

@cher Me too. It sucks what's going on. How do you deal with all this? Who cares about the trashers. They are so lame. They're just jealous

Reply to @cher
Oh Cher. Don't worry about the Tea Party – populist whining is nothing new.
