Meet Zack Hunt. He has a blue check so we guess he’s pretty important (at least by Twitter’s questionable standards). Turns out Zack is very, very passionate about defending Vanderbilt Hospital, whose transgender clinic was exposed by Matt Walsh for allegedly providing irreversible transitioning treatments to minors.
We can’t be sure exactly what set him off, but here’s Zack telling on Matt to Samsung in an effort to get him deplatformed:
Hey @SamsungMobileUS @SamsungUS Matt Walsh is a bigot and a racist who is waging a terrorism campaign against hospitals. He’s already incited a bomb threat against Boston Children’s and is now attacking Vanderbilt Hospital.
Why are you supporting this person? https://t.co/nYfAyf5Cuw

This caught the attention of Chloe Cole, a young woman who has been through the process of transitioning and subsequent detransitioning:
@ZaackHunt continues to peddle the same tired talking points, yet is still too cowardly to directly respond to me. I’m proof that his ideas are a bold-faced lie but he chooses to dig a deeper hole for himself. Weak individuals like this have allowed this harm to continue. https://t.co/y2WIylAaoI

He also turned his ire on Ian Miles Cheong, who was curious as to why this Vanderbilt assistant dean of admissions (and ordained pastor) deleted her tweet:

Why did she delete this. Vanderbilt Assistant Dean of Admissions, btw. pic.twitter.com/V8zivBqHLl

Here’s a better question: why are you harassing people for defending a hospital against bigoted terrorists like yourself, @MattWalshBlog, and your followers?
If you’re so sure you’re right, why are you so scared of someone calling you out on your bullshit? https://t.co/fbY0A3rBBI
— Zack Hunt (@ZaackHunt) September 24, 2022
We’re going to take that to mean that he doesn’t know the answer. And repeatedly calling someone a bigot and a terrorist sort of sounds like harassment itself.
Ian kept his reply simple:
Hey bud. Minors can’t give consent.
— Ian Miles Cheong (@stillgray) September 24, 2022
Simple, and very true.
Zach is a big fan of the quote tweet, so his conversations (and there are many) can be a little hard to follow.
Apparently he’s been at this for two days now:
Ok Matt Walsh trolls, it's been fun but I need to get back to work.
Please feel free to keep tweeting into the void.
And don't worry, I'll be back because I'm not going to stop calling attention to @MattWalshBlog's terrorism campaign against Vanderbilt Hospital
— Zack Hunt (@ZaackHunt) September 22, 2022
But he wants you to know that he doesn’t care:
Bring me all the trolls and let the disappear in the void of my indifference. https://t.co/4jdRXbLpKQ
— Zack Hunt (@ZaackHunt) September 24, 2022
Yea, nothing says indifference like raging at people for forty-eight hours and then tweeting about how indifferent you are.
