Earlier today, Mitt Romney delivered a speech in which he referred to Donald Trump as a phony, a fraud, and pointed out other reasons he believes Trump is not qualified to hold the office of president.
Romney lost to Barack Obama in 2012 and accepted Donald Trump’s endorsement that year, and Michelle Malkin imagines how things might have been different:
If only Romney talked like this four years ago about Obama…or Trump. Too freaking late and too freaking lame.

John McCain, the GOP’s 2008 nominee who also lost to Obama, agreed with Romney’s take on Trump.
@michellemalkin Romney lost because he didn't have guts to attack Obama. Like or hate Trump, he will attack Hillary.

@michellemalkin if it wasn't for establishment like Mitt Romney, Trump wouldn't have this kind of lead. His actions helped caused it!
