This endorsement was probably written years ago:

Stunning! Except not really. But look how the NYT editorial board described her:

What color is the sky in the NYT editorial board’s world?

Gee, we wonder who the Times will endorse in the general election. The suspense is killing us!

If that were to happen the Times would probably post her bail if necessary.

  • Sanchez

The NYT just endorsed Bradley Manning and Edward Snowden for President.

    • BillinDetroit

      Bradley is now Chelsea

      • interestedobserver2

Maybe “she” can be Caitlyn Jenner’s “running mate.”

  • akatom3565

When one chooses dogma over the Constitution and a treasonous liar over truth you too can represent liberalism.

  • Seriously? ✓

More shocking to me is the Times endorsement of John Kasich. He will be gone in a matter of weeks.

    • Sanchez

      So will Clinton.

    • John Hitchcock

Extremism == anti-Communist and anti-Entropy according to the values-free and intellect-free New Jerk Slimes. And it’s further proof that my own Governor, who once did a good thing in the House of Representatives (creating the Gingrich “balanced” budget that Clinton and the Left take credit for) is unfit for office. Actually, he’s no longer fit for any office higher than representative of the 4th Ward of a small town, if that much.

      • Grumpy Granny

I’ve known people who claimed to be SO superior, because they read the NYT.

        • ricoliv

Well. since they have little else to substantiate their claim ….

    • ernst

Kasich was only endorsed by the NYT because he is absolutely unelectable and would assure a Democrat win. NYT is totally a whore to the liberals of the liberals.

    • ricoliv

Give credit to the NYT, even though it’s not due them. By issuing a pro forma endorsement of someone who is least likely to secure the nomination, the mandarins of the Upper East/West sides of Manhattan are, in effect, endorsing nobody on the Republican side. That is what passes for “unbiased” in the stronghold of Maureen Dowd and Paul Krugman, neither of whom ever met a conservative s/he didn’t want to eviscerate.

    • verbena

dude, I live in Ohio and have NEVER seen a Kasich for prez sign. Not a one….

    • Antisocial_ism

If it weren’t for the fact that they mentioned Kasich by name. I would have thought they were referring to the dem candidates.

          WTF was I thinking?

Brain fart. Happens to the best of us occasionally. Like you, as a qualified example of the best of us.

SHADDAUP, I’m trying to have a conversation here!

Sorry. Now what were we talking about?

I don’t think loving a movie chock full of young, attractive women in bikinis is cause to question masculinity.

Has Ahmed the Clock Boy endorsed anyone yet?

In January of 2008, the NYT endorsed Big Hillary, while praising Obama and John Edwards.
Say…when will John Edwards announce his choice?

    • John Howard

      Give him time.

  • toddm123

Hillary has as many qualifications as Obama had. NONE!

    • toddm123

Wait, she is qualified to be a Democrat nominee. She was fired from the Watergate investigation for being a lying, liberal hack. So they’re right!

    • ricoliv

Wait a minute! That’s not fair. Remember, Hillary is a woman, whereas Obama … well … Anyway … being the first (or possibly second) arguably female president is certainly a qualification, especially since she is also the wife of “our first black president.” (Toni Morrison will be forever tarred with that howler.)

      • Andrew Curlutu

Ms. Morrison was a delusional. Beelzebubba isn’t black…he’s just black-hearted and a blackguard.

  • fragglerock61

The Times also just endorsed Kasich.

And that is all you need to know about him.

    • ricoliv

      Or them.

  • Joe

Why hasn’t Hillary Clinton been indicted yet?

    • Sanchez

If one T is not crossed just right the case is over.

When was the last time such a high profile case at such a time in a major election has happened?

The FBI is making a bulletproof case.

      • Arttie the Deplorable

        “Make it so!”

      • LucienCordier

We’ve been disappointed so many times that I can no longer allow myself to believe that.

        • Sanchez

Hold on a little while longer. It is hitting critical mass.

          • John Hitchcock

Obama, the criminal, has made the Democrat bench so thin that he can’t allow Hillary to get indicted, even if he wanted to, and he doesn’t.

          • ricoliv

Ergo. the sudden outpouring of love for Obama from the Clintoniistas. Even Bill is praising the guy who “would have been serving the coffee” a mere seven years ago.

          • Andrew Curlutu

Not necessarily. The Clintons and the Obamas hate each other like poison, and Dear Commissar would LOVE to throw The Iron Czarina an anvil, if he could figure out a way to do it without pissing off her fanatical followers…

          • rich614

Unfortunately the FBI has no power to force an indictment no matter how much evidence they have. It’s up to Loretta Lynch to make a case, so good luck with that.

      • rich614

Will make no difference. She will walk.

        • Sanchez Crazy as a Loon

@nytimes endorses @HillaryClinton. “one of the most broadly and deeply qualified candidates in modern history”

Well, except for that FBI investigation ongoing into her handling of classified information, oh, and her mishandling of an international terrorist attack on our embassy leaving 4 dead, oh and that time she skipped out on responsibility by trading in cattle futures, and that “friend” committing “suicide”, and that time she was removed* from the Watergate investigation for writing a fraudulent brief.

So, all her experience in illegal and fraudulent activity makes her “one of the most broadly and deeply qualified candidate in modern history” for POTUS.

Yeah…that made me throw up in my mouth too.

*fired…she was fired…but let’s not get into semantics.

    • Donald-Now 3x as Deplorable

There’s your problem right there. “Seemingly educated people” has NEVER been used by ANYBODY, when talking about any demon-rat voter.

  • joeymegatron

By all means let’s vote for her…if we only needed someone to slander people and destroy their reputation, and don’t forget, someone who can set up the White House’s first brothel, to make sure her husband is ‘serviced.’ Far as I can tell, all of her ‘broad’ experience is bad–she destroyed people to protect her scum husband, she was elected Senator because of who her husband is, and she completely boofed up the job of Secy of State. If it’s failure we want, by all means, let’s elect Hillary Clinton.

  • Girl who talks with her claws

I remember being appalled when I saw the full page Wisconsin State Journal announcement that they were endorsing Obama. How is that not a conflict of interest?
Even crazier is that at the time, the WSJ was supposedly the more conservative of the 2 local papers, with the Capitol Times being more liberal. Eventually the Cap times turned into a left wing tabloid freebie loaded with articles about how wonderful abortion is, how horrible it is to be a Christian or question the current administration, etc. and the WSJ took over the Cap Times’ role as regular liberal rag.
I’d like to live to see a day when news outlets actually report facts instead of telling us what to think & who to vote for.

I suppose the liberal establishment does what it must, but there is no longer any way to ignore the obvious crimes of Mrs. Clinton.

  • ricoliv

Wait a second … Wasn’t it the NYT which first broke the story of Hillary’s email “indiscretions” back in March? I seem to recall their getting rhetorical pats on their editorial back for being so “courageous,” so “unbiased” as to deviate from the Party screed. What happened to all of that courage? It seems the editors just could not muster enough cojone-power to simply refrain from endorsing anyone, much less an under-qualified huckster flirting with an indictment.

          Quelle horreur!

  • Rick Owen

The NYT endorsing the Hildebeast reminds me of another chain of events, albeit a more gruesome one:

Once upon a time, in an age of racism, there was a pastor who preached integration, who coined the term “rainbow family,” who preached against capitalism, “fascism,” and America. He was blantantly Marxist and Maoist. Because of his espousal of socialism, his anti-war stance, and his helping the homeless and his integrated church and family, the Demorlock leaders of the city and state loved, praised and honored him. He was even appointed chairman of the housing authority.

But all the time, evangelical pastors were warning city officials of strange goings-on in that pastor’s church. To no avail, because he was an ultra-liberal, a great hero. They ignored the warning signs. Finally, an intrepid reporter did his homework, and published an article that the local liberal newspaper wouldn’t print. An expose. As pressure began to mount from concerned relatives of the church members, the pastor led his people to another country, establishing a compound.

It all ended the day that his thug assassinated a visiting congressman and he ordered nearly a thousand people to murder themselves by drinking cyanide-laced punch.

He was Jim Jones. He was praised by Jerry Brown, Willie Brown, George Moscone, Harvey Milk, Walter Mondale, Art Agnos, Rev. Cecil Williams, and Rosalyn Carter. It was the San Francisco Chronicle that refused to publish the expose.

    Sipping the kool-aid indeed.

p.s. my father was one of the evangelical leaders warning everyone about Jim Jones.

    • Deplorable Nigel Pinchley

They still do it today on a lesser scale with Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and “Father” Pfleger. They’re all the same as Jones, but without the mass murder/suicide angle.
