As Twitchy told you, new reports today pretty much set fire to Team Hillary’s bogus claim that there was no classified material stored on her private server.

But that’s not how Hillary’s press secretary Brian Fallon sees it at all:

Unbelievable. And it gets even better (read: worse):

Our own inquiry finds that Brian Fallon is a shameless hack and liar.

Maybe he didn’t.

It’s stunning, really. Stunning that Fallon would have the gall think he can actually get away with pulling this crap.

That’s a nice way to put it.

Editor’s note: The title of this post was originally “‘How do you sleep at night’? Hillary spox absurdly spins latest Hillary email bombshell.” We’ve changed it to eliminate redundancy.

‘Transparency FTW!’ State Dept. delays release of last few thousand Hillary emails until WHEN?

‘People may have died because of this’: Hillary email scandal just blew up — AGAIN

He didn’t really need that car, officer. I know this to be true. Can I drive off now?

    • Ashram13

he would have driven that car off a cliff … if he wasn’t so busy spinning it.

      • BlahBlah

    • DeplorableMessMan ✔ JesseMessy

Very true, and the word “overclassification” isn’t the most infuriating part: that’d be Fallon’s tweet that says “Remember when the Intel Community’s IG said two Clinton emails were “top secret”? New review says that was wrong.”
…That’s right, Fallon, you Hillaryous Henchman…Take the “no-brain out” of blaming the Intel-community, ‘cuz after all, every low-info-voter knows that the Intel-community runs the Presidency & POTUS is Intel’s cabinet-secretary. (Hollywood said so.)

      • Ashram13

remember when i said the emails didn’t matter

        that’s right hillary, you did

Fallon’s tweet, and Politico’s story, about the “two emails” is a 100% complete and total lie — it was FOUR emails out of limited sample of 40 emails before the 1,000’s of Secret and Top Secret emails were found.

  • Michelle ✓classified

Here’s the thing that continues to baffle me about this whole classified email mess: If she’s so insistent that she didn’t read classified emails on her private server, just show us where she did read them on a secured Government server. Simply show us the email account to which she had classified emails sent and prove she never accessed those emails from her personal server. Wouldn’t that solve everything or does she expect us to believe she, in the capacity of Secretary of State never received classified emails? The government can’t prove to the public she had classified emails on her private server because they can’t disclose the emails, she’s using this to her advantage. If she wants to prove herself innocent, why not just disclose the email account on the secured server where she read the damn emails?

    • Pookiedr

    …Hittlery’s email Classified ?

  • gekkobear

    Two questions.

    1) HOW do you know they’re overclassified? Did you see the intel in question?
Any chance you have a copy, or perhaps recall it? Want to share?

    2) How far “overclassified” was it? The SAP intel for example, should that only be “TOp Secret” or “Secret”? Maybe just “Classified”?

On #2, to clarify… I don’t know all the levels of classification. I may have missed several.

If anyone does know, I would like to know how many steps exist. between “SAP” or even just the “Top Secret” they’re saying here and “not classified at all” that would make this something acceptable to have on a private e-mail server.

How many steps of classification are there in between? I don’t know.

    • lilwren

      …they are measured in smidgens…

    • NachoCheese (D)

      See the section on SCI/SAP.

SCI and SAP are similar (intel versus DoD verbage). They are subsets of Top Secret.

    • Roto ✓Intentionally Left Blank

There are only 3 levels of classified information in Obama’s Executive Order 13526 – “Classified National Security Information.” From Section. 1.2 Classification Levels – (a) Information may be classified at one of the following three levels: (1) Top Secret (2) Secret and (3) Confidential.

SAP’s are programs that “the vulnerability of, or threat to, specific information is exceptional” which is the same as Top Secret information. And, “Special Access Programs shall be limited to programs in which the number
of persons who ordinarily will have access will be reasonably small and
commensurate with the objective of providing enhanced protection for
      the information involved.”
Meaning, only a few people know about the program, and everyone is “read-in” and “read-out” of the program to even know about it.

    • jwz

Exactly. And out all of the e-mails that were on Ms. Wipe-it’s server, how do you precisely which 22 they’re talking about?

  • HENCHMAN 0804

If I was in charge, she would be burned at the stake and the rest of her team drawn,

  • LimpingHenry

Even if the documents were “overclassified”, that doesn’t alter the fact that they were classified and does not invalidate laws against the handling of classified material, Brian.

  • Septic Stew

This could be more serious than the Scooter Libby / Valerie Plame scandal.

    • Petrucio14

At least in this case they should punish the guilty party. Scooter Libby never did ‘out’ Valerie Plame.

  • constitutionminded

Just ask the Russians or the Chinese, they can tell us what the emails say.

  • ricoliv

Brian Fallon would do well to engage a spell-checker or at least learn how to spell big words like “adamantly” before using them. It’s a good thing he”s not Hillary’s press secretary or … oh … wait a second….

Well anyway, that ” how does he sleep at night” speculation? It’s purely rhetorical, since vampires are nocturnal.

  • Petrucio14

When I was in the Air Force (many years past) I had a top secret classification. It was no secret that the government classified some things that didn’t seem to require it. It was equally obvious that we would be severely punished for revealing them regardless of our opinion of whether it should be classified or to what level. The Secretary of State is under the same rules. It is obvious that Secretary Clinton thought she was above the law; it simply didn’t apply when her attempt to evade the FoIA was in conflict with federal law. She should be indited, given a fair trial, and convicted of the may felonies that have been revealed by this investigation. Her spin should not trump the law. Bubba’s finger shaking and contention that ‘I did not have sex with that woman’ shouldn’t have protected him either.

  • RSnyder

Political one cheek sneak. Liberals pretend they can’t smell it.

  • HandsOffOurFreedoms

Does Fallon have Top Secret clearance? Does he know what is described in the e-mails or is he just projectile commenting in order to deflect the incoming? Also, maybe I am a little dense on this, but how is it that classified material worked its way from the secured system at State onto the completely unsecured system as implemented by Killery? Does classified material “fly”? C’mon Brian, enquiring minds want to know! Or is that information classified?

    • Roto ✓Intentionally Left Blank

And even if Fallon had a TS clearance, he STILL could not see the Special Access Program material in her emails.

  • Sylvia

Do you really think that every evil thing that Hillary says or does will cause her to lose sleep at night? She is a wicked witch, who only knows evil, surely not goodness.

  • interestedobserver2

I’ve heard the term “man-wh0re” before, but never actually seen one in action prior to this.

The Clinton campaign is handling this the same as everything else, including the death of the US ambassador in Libya.

No big deal, nothing to see here, move along.

She will not be indicted, she will be the Democratic nominee, and she stands a better than average chance of being elected the next POTUS.

I sure hope I end up being wrong, but the left, the media, academia, and the Beltway don’t give a shit.
