During CNN’s Thursday night town hall on guns, the president was confronted by a rape survivor, Kim Corban, who was attacked and raped in her own home by an intruder. A pro-gun advocate, she asked President Obama why he wanted to make it more difficult for her to purchase a firearm for self-defense.

“I have been unspeakingly victimized once already, and I don’t want that to happen again,” Kimberly Corban. #GunsInAmerica

The president’s response wasn’t to tear up, but rather to tell her that none of his proposals would make it more difficult for her to purchase a gun.
In response to rape survivor, @POTUS says “Nothing we’ve proposed would make it harder for you to buy a firearm.” Carry rules up to states.

.@Potus tells NRA advocate and rape victim nothing he has proposed would infringe on her right to own a gun. #GunsInAmerica

Is he certain about that?
@EmilyMiller ~ If a rape victim has mental/emotional issues after the assault, her shrink can call it in, and she's ineligible to carry?

However, the president wasn’t done, adding that having a gun in the house to protect herself and her children could lead to a tragic accident.

@DLoesch and Pres disrespects by saying having a gun may not have prevented attack and may cause accident.

Obama tells rape survivor it's hard for people to shoot their attacker unless well trained…. ?

Just buy ad time and run this on loop.
Bet no one asks Hillary if she agrees though.@EmilyMiller

@EmilyMiller @JennJacques the only "tragic" accident that will occur in a home with a gun, is a dead intruder.

@EmilyMiller Gives her a better chance than nothing at all.

@EmilyMiller @GPollowitz Well that should be up to her to decide. Not someone who for last 7 yrs has had protection 2nd to none globally.

@EmilyMiller @POTUS #bigballs Rape victims don't have the right to defend themselves
