If National Review’s Kat Timpf wasn’t getting death threats from Star Wars fans she angered, this might be funny.
But it’s not funny. It’s creepy and weird and disturbing that some guy would make a 10-minute long video going after her because she said on “Red Eye” about Star Wars, “I have never had any interest in watching space nerds poke each other with their little space nerd sticks.”
Here it is:
A guy verbally abusing me bc I made a joke about Star Wars on a 3am SATIRE SHOW it has more than 70K views: https://t.co/vjRA94oJcn #RedEye

So far the video has 70,000 views … and counting.
Here’s the tweet that got everyone so mad and led to the segment on “Red Eye” in the first place:
What's Star Wars? Sorry, I've been too busy liking cool things and being attractive.

Kat has been pushing back for days against angry fans, and has even received death threats over the tweet:
I love that I'm getting told to die and that I'm ugly over a tweet I did criticizing Star Wars A MONTH AGO. You ppl sure do like that movie

I had no idea not liking Star Wars was a capital offense https://t.co/2px8SikbVJ

I've joked about death yet never offended quite like I offended by joking about Star Wars. Hope to care so much about something someday.
