This past August, Curt Schilling tweeted out a meme comparing Muslim extremists to Nazis. He later apologized, but it wasn’t enough to pacify the powers that be at ESPN. Schilling was yanked from the network for the remainder of this year.

We can’t help but wonder, then, if ESPN will take similar action with “Pardon the Interruption” co-host Tony Kornheiser, who suggested that the Tea Party might have a kindred spirit in ISIS:

Pretty inflammatory stuff, isn’t it, ESPN?

@espn Are you going to suspend Tony Kornheiser for his comparison of ISIS to Conservatives in Congress or are you a bunch of hypocrites?
— Daniel Snyder (@danmsnyder) October 27, 2015
Has @espn suspended Kornheiser yet, or will they prove yet again what lily-livered lunatic leftists they truly are?
— Smitty Smith (@FLRightWinger) October 27, 2015
What Kornheiser said was WAY worse than what Schilling said. Your move ESPN. Are politics off limits, or just politics you don't like?
— Dan Kingerski (@Budmoonshine) October 27, 2015
I don't think we should pardon this interruption or mean spirited comparisons …such a smug mindless thing to say https://t.co/dcbpR5K9uZ

And what about this?
Back in July, Kornheiser enjoyed a delightful golf game with Barack Obama:
Correction: Pres Obama's golf partners include longtime pals Mike Ramos & Marty Nesbitt. Also ESPN partners Michael Wilbon & Tony Kornheiser

And again in August:

And again earlier this month:
Obama playing some fall golf on this crisp fall day — playing with Tony Kornheiser at the private club TPC Avenal

It's 54°, but not too cool for a round of golf. Pres Obama is playing at TPC Potomac. Foursome includes 2 WH aides & ESPN's Tony Kornheiser.
— Mark Knoller (@markknoller) October 17, 2015
Is ESPN going to hold President Obama accountable for being associated with someone like Kornheiser?
Kornheiser will get a fist bump from Obama during their next golf round. https://t.co/UQxwp8GTST

Hey, their rules, right?
But we won’t hold our breath.
