Bernie Sanders has been hinting for days that he’d finally explain to American voters just what he means when he calls himself a Democratic Socialist. Well, here it is:
Democratic Socialism means democracy. It means creating a government that represents all of us, not just the wealthiest people in America.
— Bernie Sanders (@SenSanders) October 20, 2015
Huh? That’s it? We think there’s a little more to it than that, Senator:
Socialism doesn't work bc it is inconsistent with fundamental principles of human behavior #NoIncentives #History https://t.co/CYBJpmymtF

Based on the number of supports Sanders has, we obviously aren't teaching history effectively in schools. #Socialism https://t.co/CYBJpmymtF

Admitted socialist. The only reason the (D) stays is because of socialism’s connotation. https://t.co/oS0swxr9tJ

Another thing to note here is that Bernie is assuming most people have never actually looked up the term. https://t.co/1VGRxwhfwp

Don't be scared of the word "Socialist" and take the time to realize what a Democratic Socialist stands for. https://t.co/cKVVxqnmsb
