President Obama proves global warming is real by visiting a glacier that started receding in 1815

While in Alaska yesterday, President Obama traveled to Exit Glacier in the Kenai Fjords National Park in Seward and used the breathtaking backdrop of the receding glacier to prove global warming is real:

He also posted a few photos to the White House Instagram account with captions lamenting how much the glacier has receded over the years.

Except this particular glacier has been receding since 1815 during a period of time known as the Little Ice Age. From the National Park Service:

In other words, the climate change President Obama is observing is natural and nothing the United States or any other country does to curb CO2 will do anything to stop it.
