Uh-oh, the word police aren’t going to be happy about this. The Wall Street Journal just deleted a tweet saying China’s President Xi Jinping has “a chink in his armor” and is now “vulnerable”:

The U.S. Army was called out for the use of a similar expression in January of this year and ESPN fired writer Anthony Federico for using “chink in the armor” in the headline of a story NBA star Jeremy Lin in 2012.
