TheBlaze founder Glenn Beck, along with his charity, Mercury One, hosted a two-day Restoring Unity event in Birmingham, Ala., this weekend. Part of the event was this morning’s Unity March, so as #BlackFair protesters marched on the Minnesota State Fair carrying #BlackLivesMatter signs, Beck’s crowd was filling the street with #AllLivesMatter signs — which many have learned the hard way is not an acceptable substitute.
There was no apology for saying #AllLivesMatter at this event. In fact, a blimp carrying a banner circled over the march.
But the real action was on the street.
Among the marchers were actor Chuck Norris and Ted Cruz’s father, Rafael Cruz.
