Fox News senior political analyst Brit Hume has that all-business tone to his voice that served him well as anchor of “Special Report.” So when Hume took to Twitter to call GOP front-runner Donald Trump “adolescent” and “not presidential,” it resonated like a kid being lectured in the principal’s office.

If there’s a problem with Hume’s scolding of Trump, it’s not his words or his tone; it’s the fact that Fox News is still offering Trump plenty of airtime. He’s a regular guest on “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren,” and quite a few viewers noticed that Trump enjoyed two consecutive episodes as a guest on “Hannity” before the airing of a Sean Hannity “special” on Trump. (For what it’s worth, Fox News is re-running the Trump special as this post is being written.)
