The New York Times’ humble suggestion this morning to “add green peas to your guacamole” turned out to be one of the most controversial things the newspaper has written in recent memory, sparking a ridiculous amount of traffic on social media. (Does anyone even know what was on the front page of the New York Times today?)
Another hot topic on Twitter today was #AskPOTUS, President Obama’s live Q&A session that was supposed to be about the Affordable Care Act and health care. Seeing as the president’s last live Twitter session on climate change quickly evolved into a chat about the NBA, it was inevitable that someone would ask about peas in guacamole — that counts as health care, right?
