As we reported earlier, Politico’s Dylan Byers broke a story this morning that ABC’s George Stephanopoulos donated $50,000 to the Clinton Foundation but never disclosed it to his employers or viewers:
But it looks like there’s more to how Politico ended up with the story in the first place.
The Washington Free Beacon’s Andrew Stiles tweets that he contacted ABC yesterday about the donations, but never received a response:
And ABC just responded to Stiles. How nice of them:
So far, ABC is standing by George Stephanopoulos:
But for how long?
