Security conditions in Yemen are on a rapid downward spiral. Last month, the U.S. embassy in that country was closed and over the weekend remaining American personnel were evacuated.

Josh Earnest was asked about it at today’s presser:

Oh, it still is a model for anti-terror “success”:

From the sound of things, Earnest is saying that the plan in Yemen was working just great until it stopped working, not that it isn’t still successful, or something:

You can’t help but wonder what it would take to bring the White House to admit that something didn’t work.
