As Mark Knoller tweeted yesterday, recording equipment was banned from Saturday night’s annual Gridiron Club white tie dinner, where President Obama and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker would deliver humorous speeches to a room full of Washington, D.C.’s elite reporters, editors and bureau chiefs. As such, reporters were left with the option of taking notes and passing along the best jokes.
Did we mention jokes and humorous speeches? Well, President Selfie apparently isn’t about to be told his narcissistic streak is an embarrassment to the nation. But there were no cameras allowed — did he really say something that petty?
