Earlier today we posted on that disgusting New York Daily News cover labeling 47 Republican Senators who signed onto an open letter warning Iran’s leaders that any nuclear deal singed with President Obama might be “short lived,” and now we see the consequences of that inflammatory headline.
The hashtag #47Traitors is currently the No. 1 trending topic in the United States:
New York Daily News’s attempt to paint this letter as some extremist screed rather than a reminder that Congress has a say in any treaty? Mission accomplished, you hacks!
Although there’s now a fair bit of pushback from conservatives over the traitor narrative:
