The Democrats have been pumping out quite a few of these “I’m a Democrat” fundraising tweets, proudly declaring just what it is that makes them tick. As the 50th anniversary observation of the Selma-to-Montgomery marches approaches, the Democrats would like you to know that they support expanding the right to vote.
Expanding it where, exactly? The Supreme Court’s 2013 decision on the Voting Rights Act might have “physically enraged” MSNBC’s Christopher Hayes, but it didn’t prevent anyone from voting who couldn’t vote before. So who are we talking about here?
