Fox, WaPost, Slate, Newsweek duped by @DPRK_News parody account

Have you read any of the tweets from the hilarious DPRK News Service satirical Twitter account? If not, you’re missing out on one of the best written parodies on social media. Here’s the latest:

Clearly satire, right? Well, it’s not so clear for everyone…

@Popehat, the evil genius behind the account, has been tweeting out examples of the hilariously-worded and fake tweets showing up in MSM reporting on North Korea.

For example, Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren used this tweet on air:

Slate did finally issue a correction, but failed to admit they were duped:

I guess "NK actually did not tweet" is technically accurate shorthand for "@slate got taken by a parody account."
