Remember Tommy Vietor? He’s the former NSC spokesman who declared Benghazi a “Throwback Thursday thing” and dismissively told Bret Baier, “Dude, this was like two years ago,” during a discussion of Benghazi talking points. Because, what difference, at this point, does it make?
In a Politico exclusive on the Benghazi chapter in Hillary’s forthcoming book, “Hard Choices,” Maggie Haberman reports:
And in a sign of the concerted effort to rebut the ongoing controversy in a cohesive way, Clinton’s camp has brought on former National Security Council spokesman and longtime President Barack Obama hand Tommy Vietor to assist in the response to the book, a source familiar with the plan said.
Dude, it was like a month ago, but Vietor’s Fox News appearance hasn’t been forgotten.
