The House of Representatives has voted to approve a select panel to investigate Benghazi.

Seven Democrats joined all Republicans to approve the panel:

Debbie Wasserman Schultz could of course be counted on to say that the Republican motivation behind the Benghazi panel is purely political. Wasserman Schultz also claimed that the vote to further investigate an attack that killed the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans did nothing to help the middle class. No, really:

What?

For starters, Wasserman Schultz is apparently content to pretend the seven House Democrats who voted in favor of the Benghazi panel don’t exist:

Whatever, Debbie. But before deflecting and dismissing, please address a few concerns and take in some criticism:

Debbie Wasserman Schultz, please read:

Bingo and bingo.

Debbie’s “voting for this panel did nothing to help the middle class” misdirection inspired a little mockery:

The select House committee investigating Benghazi will be headed up by Rep. Trey Gowdy of South Carolina, whether Debbie Wasserman Schultz likes it or not.
