Today began Yom HaShoah, also known as Holocaust Remembrance Day.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu observed the period of time we formally honor the memories of the six million Jews who perished during the Holocaust, and sent a message to enemies of of the Jewish people:
On this day, on behalf of the Jewish people, I say to those who have sought and still seek to destroy us: You have failed and you will fail.

Observance of Holocaust Remembrance Day this year begins the evening of Sunday, April 27th, and ends the evening of Monday, April 28.
