Earlier today, Vox.com, which purportedly exists to boil down the facts into easy to digest explanations, published a post titled “What are Israel and Palestine? Why are they fighting?”

A Washington Free Beacon fact check of just the first of over two dozen pages found the Vox piece riddled with errors:


It wasn’t funny to everybody. The author of the “Voxsplanation,” Zack Beauchamp, pointed out that the Free Beacon’s fact check didn’t … name a specific author:

Not exactly a sweeping defense of his “facts” in the Israel-Palestine piece at Vox.


A possible reason the Free Beacon’s shredding of the Vox piece on Israel-Palestine listed “staff” instead of an individual author was offered:
