As Twitchy reported, US Airways is the talk of the Twittersphere this afternoon, thanks to a very ill-advised, very graphic tweet. People who don’t hate fun are basking in the opportunity to mock, but MSNBC contributor Josh Barro evidently lives by the Party Pooper Playbook:
That’s it? That’s his contribution to the discussion? Talk about lame.
Seriously. That’s exactly what he is. But we won’t let him ruin this for us.

What we’re dealing with is an endless source of mockery material.
Ha! See, that’s what this is about: Responding to Barro’s attempt at mockery with … more mockery. We’re not angry or outraged by Barro’s “777” tweet. And his “douchebaggery” doesn’t stem from that tweet, but rather from his belief that we’re all just a bunch of stupid “hicks” who don’t know what’s good for us.

The fact that Barro made a joke but wasn’t prepared to handle tongue-in-cheek feedback suggests he doesn’t have as firm a grasp on the art of “dry humor” as he’d like to believe.
