This morning on “Fox News Sunday,” Mitt Romney addressed MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry’s latest apology for hosting a panel mocking his adopted grandson. And as usual, he kept it classy:
.@MittRomney on MSNBC mocking: People make mistakes, they made a big mistake, and they've apologized, I’m going to move on #FNS
— FoxNewsSunday (@FoxNewsSunday) January 5, 2014
Mitt Romney, on @FoxNewsSunday, had little to say about MSNBC hit on his family. "They apologized for it, and that's all you can ask for."
— Brian Stelter (@brianstelter) January 5, 2014
However, he was careful to stress the importance of leaving politicians’ children out of the mud:
.@MittRomney on MSNBC mocking: People like me are fair targets, but kids are out of line #FNS
— FoxNewsSunday (@FoxNewsSunday) January 5, 2014
We hope MSNBC was paying especially close attention to that bit.

@kirstenpowers10 the real story is how much of a class act Mitt Romney is.

Mitt Romney rising above the gutter-trash at MSNBC. He's a man of character unlike the putrid stains that network employs ie @MHarrisPerry

@MittRomney You were very gracious with your response to the unkind mocking remarks made by @msnbc regarding your sweet grand baby.

@mittromney was a class act on Fox News News Sunday. MSNBC jerks got a smile from Mitt and he's moving on.

I love it when someone who has been wronged by other takes the high road. Just saw @MittRomney on @FoxNewsSunday #ShowingGrace #Refreshing

@brianstelter @FoxNewsSunday @MSNBC While I've never been a big @MittRomney fan, I commend him taking the high road on the senseless attack.

No surprise that Governor Romney is a forgiving class act when asked about MSNBC behavior on #FNS.

And good on Governor Romney for taking the high road. He's a good, good man.
